Questions, answered.
What is Moody?
Moody is a personal library for the visual inspiration you want to keep: screenshots, images, videos, and links, all in one place on your Mac.
How do tags work?
Moody uses on-device intelligence, including Apple Intelligence when available, to suggest tags for your saved inspiration. You can add, remove, and manage tags yourself at any time. Smart tagging is still improving, so suggestions may not always be perfect—more updates soon.
What is Inbox?
Inbox is a review space for screenshots from Photos. Pick the ones you want to keep, then save them to your Moody library. Screenshots you capture on your Mac and files you upload go straight to the library.
What are Collections?
Collections are flexible boards for organising inspiration by project, style, or anything else. The same item can live in more than one Collection.
Where does Moody store my library?
Your library lives on your Mac. Moody is local-first, so your saved inspiration stays on your device instead of in a cloud account.
What can I save in Moody?
Save screenshots, images, GIFs, and videos, whether you capture them, upload them, or drag them into Moody.
Can I save inspiration from a link?
Yes. Paste a public webpage or direct-media link to bring its available images, GIFs, and videos into your library.
Can I use Moody offline?
Yes. Once something is in your library, you can browse, search, organise, and revisit it without an internet connection.
